- Data Center migration is a must 
- SQL Server Administration best practice knowledge 
- MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle experience 
- Knowledge of relational database design and concepts 
- Microsoft IIS and Active Directory experience 
- T-SQL scripting and stored procedures expertise 
- SQL Server clustering installation and troubleshooting experience 
- SQL Server engine internals, query execution plans, query optimization and performance tuning experience 
- Experience supporting web-based hosted apps 
- Solid knowledge of backup and recovery options 
- Experience developing and deploying business continuity and disaster recovery strategies 
- Knowledge in using Powershell scripts, Central Management Server and SQL Server Policy Based Management 
- Experience in a SaaS environment managing and tuning large, multi-terabyte SQL Server databases
